Senior Enlisted Advisor
Sergeant Major Jeremey W. Lirette
A native of Houston, TX, Sergeant Major Lirette enlisted in the Marine Corps on 14 May 1996. He graduated from Mike Company, 3rd recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, in August 1996. He then attended training with Bravo Company, School of Infantry Training, Camp Pendleton, California, where he was assigned the MOS of Antitank Missile Gunner and was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal.
  
In November 1996, Sergeant Major Lirette was assigned to Weapons Company, 1st Battalion 1st Marine Regiment Camp Pendleton California where he served as a Fire Team leader, Squad Leader, and Platoon Sergeant.  While assigned to Weapons Company, he promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

Sergeant Major Lirette then volunteered for Drill Instructor duty and graduated from Class 3-00 in June 2000. Upon graduation, he was assigned to Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California, where he served as a Junior Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Instructor and Chief Drill Instructor. He was meritoriously promoted to Staff Sergeant on 2 January 2003.
      
In January 2004, Sergeant Major Lirette was assigned to Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division, 29 Palms, California. During this tour, he served as Platoon Commander, Platoon Sergeant, and Company Gunnery Sergeant, deploying three times to Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In November 2007, Sergeant Major Lirette received orders to 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, California and was assigned to Division School, 1st Marines Division where he served as the Chief Instructor. He was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant on 1 March 2008.    
         
In June 2008, Sergeant Major Lirette reported to India Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, California, where he served as the Company Gunnery Sergeant until January 2010.  He was then assigned to Headquarters and Service Company, serving as the Company Gunnery Sergeant and Company First Sergeant. During this period, Sergeant Major Lirette deployed to Okinawa, Japan and to Afghanistan. He was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant on 1 March 2011.

On 29 March 2011, Sergeant Major Lirette reported 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina, serving as the Company First Sergeant for Company A.

On 1 July 2014, Sergeant Major Lirette reported Headquarters Detachment, Marine Wing Communications Squadron 38, Marine Air Control Group 38, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing, San Diego, California, assuming the duty of Detachment First Sergeant.
          
On 22 September 2014, Sergeant Major Lirette was assigned to HMLA-469, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing Camp Pendleton, California for duty as the Squadron Sergeant Major. During this assignment, Sergeant Major Lirette deployed to Okinawa, Japan. 

On 16 January 2016, Sergeant Major Lirette was assigned as the First Sergeant of Headquarters and Service Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, California. His deployments during this period included Okinawa, Japan and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. 

On 6 January 2017, Sergeant Major Lirette executed orders to Combat Logistics Battalion 13, Camp Pendleton, California, serving as the Battalion Sergeant Major. During this period, he deployed as part of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit. 

On 10 May 2019, Sergeant Major Lirette executed orders to 1st Maintenance Battalion,  Camp Pendleton, California to serve as the Battalion Sergeant Major.

On 14 August 2020, Sergeant Major Lirette was assigned to Marine Corps Cyberspace Warfare Group as the Group Sergeant Major.
 
On 10 March 2023, Sergeant Major Lirette was assumed his current role as Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command Sergeant Major.  

His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (3 gold stars in lieu of 4th award), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 gold stars in lieu of 4th award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 gold stars in lieu of 3rd award), and the Combat Action Ribbon.
